The War on Cash: A Country by Country Guide

By James Corbett and cross-posted from The Corbett Report

waroncashCorbett Reporteers will be no stranger to the war on cash. I’ve made videos discussing it, conducted interviews about it, written articlesexamining it and dissected it on the radio.

The war has been waged through mainstream propaganda outlets, TV advertisements and evenchildren’s games.

We’ve heard cash is dirtied by drug dealing, tarnished by terrorism, tainted by tax evasion(heaven forbid!) and just plain dirty. Not to mention sooooo outdated.

Just this week Norway has jumped aboard the cashless society agenda with DNB, the country’s largest bank, calling for a total end to cash. The story only sounds shocking only to people who haven’t heard the similar stories from Sweden or Denmark or India or Israel or any of the dozens of other countries whose banksters and (bankster-controlled) governments have openly lusted after a world of completely trackable, completely bank-controlled transactions.

But all of these stories, reported piecemeal here and there over the years, don’t give the full story about how this “war on cash” is being waged on every continent and in every country by the same banksters that stand to benefit from a cashless world. Let’s fix that by compiling a list of examples from around the world of how cash payments are being regulated, restricted and phased out

  1. While I know this is correct, in re: corporate interests wish to control all the transactions in the world, it is still merely the latest salvo in the ongoing war for control of the human mind. Money does NOT exist in reality, other than as a convenient means for us to place value on our time and energy expenditure. Cash, therefore, can be anything we wish it to be, as long as everyone involved in the transaction is agreed as to the value being exchanged. The money itself has never existed in any other way.

But, corporate interests have discovered many ways to manipulate minds, as well as figures, so that now, everyone alive, almost, believes money actually DOES exist… but, in reality, it is only an idea, a powerful one, to be sure, but, mostly for mischief, as one person will take advantage over others to fulfill their own narcissistic need for control of others… as we see in society today.

As long as people continue to place credence in the story they are selling, our world will remain as it is, on a road to self-destruction, for capitalism, as a philosophy, never has any other end result…. once all the actual resources are gone, there is nowhere to expand the markets, and the house of cards falls in on itself….

But, people will play their silly mind games with reality, just as if they actually understood it, or had ANY control over it….
