Suing the State: The Hidden Rules Within EU-US Trade Deal

As I reported last week, 14 — exactly half — of EU Member States have been lobbying the European Commission hard to include Investor State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) clauses within the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Treaty (TTIP). They include the UK, Spain, Ireland and Denmark.
